8P/3BR Le Marais Spacious, Central & Historic Apt

Excellent apartment, wonderful stay! Positive: We absolutely loved this apartment! It was lovely and spacious with wonderful windows that overlook a bustling street; we especially loved the biking lanes below, active with bikers every day! It suited us as we are used to busy streets nearby; it may not be optimal for people looking for a quiet retreat. We loved the comfortable beds, and the the kitchen with washer/dryer. (Guests from the USA should know that the coffee maker offers very small pods for small portions of espresso, which may be different than your home machine.) It was nice that portable AC units are provided in each room because there was an unusual heat spell during our stay. It was a bit awkward to set them up, as hose lines had to be situated out the windows to properly vent, but we figured it out. With a separate “Water Closet” (toilet room) we were able to compatibly share the one shower/tub room. Some people may require an extra bathroom for multiple people. We found the location excellent with good proximity to the Metro station, Line 1, which is useful for travel to many attractions. Also, it was a quick walk to the river. We are very grateful we were able to book this, although the non-refundable reservation was intimidating. Luckily we had no hitches in our plan so no need to have to change or cancel! We have already talked about coming back next year- I hope we can make that happen! Thanks to our host for good communication! Turned out, we didn’t need anything else for our stay; we had everything we needed. Negative: Managing the AC venting hoses was our only difficulty during our stay. But we were happy to have the option for cooling the air.

Perfect for our family one week stay in Paris. Would stay again for sure. Positive: For a family of 5 the apartment was perfect. Lots of space, big bedrooms and very comfortable. The location was brilliant. Easy walking to amazing restaurants, croissants and shopping and quick access to just about everywhere on foot or on the metro. Well equipped kitchen if we wanted to eat in. The host was very helpful and on hand to assist or answer questions without delay.

Beautiful and dreamy, staying here is well worth it. Positive: An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Conveniently located only a five minute walk from a metro station and several grocery places. Lots of restaurants and shopping within ten minutes, and Notre Dame so close too. The concierge answered all our questions promptly. We were able to do laundry and make plenty of meals when we were tired of exploring. It was very warm--a nice comfort in the winter. The beds were extremely comfortable, the apartment quiet with all the doors that close and the double windows--even with lots of noise on the street for new years eve it was still quiet enough that the kids stayed asleep. I would absolutely stay here again. Negative: The business below had an alarm that seemed to be sensitive, it went off a few times while we were staying there. It would be a good idea to buy a new shower curtain, as the current one had an unpleasant smell.

Greta location and helpful team Positive: It was in a great area with lots of shops, restaurants and museums close by. Walking distance to many coffee shops and bakeries too!
