Spacious and well-located, but hugely overpriced and poorly managed for the premium it charges. Positive: I always try to leave honest and balanced reviews wherever I stay, as I find them really helpful when making my own decisions. I also try to be realistic—if it’s budget accommodation, I rate it based on what’s fair for that price point. So even a two-star place can get five stars if it delivers what it promises. With that in mind, here’s my review for this apartment. Positives first: The location is excellent, and the apartment itself is very spacious. Three large bedrooms and a big open-plan lounge and dining area. It was also very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, which we really appreciated. Negative: Despite being listed as suitable for up to 8 guests, there is only one bathroom and one toilet. For a group of that size, or even five people, this is just not practical. The price is where it really falls apart. We paid €660 for one night (we were three people), and for that price, you expect a premium, well-thought-out experience. There wasn’t even a bottle of water, or milk for the coffee pods provided. One bedroom had curtains that didn’t properly cover the window, so it was bright at 4am. The shower was very poor, and the floorboards creak loudly throughout the flat. It also claims to have air conditioning, but what’s actually provided are portable AC units in each room. These are loud and require the window to be left open for the exhaust hose. Since the apartment is on a busy junction, the noise outside made it impossible to sleep with windows open, so the air con is effectively unusable. At 11am sharp, the doorbell rang nonstop until we opened it, and the cleaners came straight in. While we were dressed and ready to go, it felt quite pushy. Worse, the next guests were already waiting outside with their suitcases, even though check-in isn’t until 3pm. We were clearly being rushed out to accommodate early arrivals. Also worth noting: you can’t let yourself in. You must be met by someone for “security reasons,” which meant messaging throughout the evening to coordinate, and being unable to just go out or take our time without worrying someone was waiting for us at the apartment. This might be normal practice in Paris, and maybe most guests are fine with it. There are plenty of positive reviews here. But after researching thoroughly and choosing this apartment expecting something special, I have to say it just didn’t deliver. If it had cost €200, I would’ve rated it 4 or even 5 stars, because it would have met expectations. But at €660, it felt like a rip-off. I honestly believe you could find better value—and better service—for less than half the price.

Great location and not luxurious Positive: The location of this property is phenomenal. Negative: The apartment above was being renovated. The noise was extremely loud early in the morning. It sounded like they were drilling in our bathroom.
